Hello My Pretties,
It was a beautiful, sunshiny, tropical day last Sunday ~ perfect for working inside a lush, air conditioned, penthouse apartment with floor to ceiling windows, overlooking the Cairns Esplanade.

While the sun shone it’s glorious 34°c , myself and some of my creative, artistic, photo shooting buddies were getting our funk on creating a few Dark Artistic sets for editorial submissions to various publications.

With everyone arriving bright and early, we set to work to establish the aspects and sets for three styles of looks.
The day absolutely sped by fuelled with an electrified energy created by the dynamics of our funky little group which comprised of; the wonderful Nadia Baxter Photography working the lens,  the amazingly crafty and talented Deb from the Posy Crew providing the most amazing array of Head Pieces, and yours truly (D*) in the Hair and Makeup department.

Our beautiful models for the day each brought their own sparkle of magic to the shoot, with Ms Daniella Rose supplying an awesome measure of Burlesque / Pin Up style, Ms Mel providing lashings of Cool and Ms Miki bending up a riot with her Contortions.

Unfortunately I can’t be showing off any finished shots just yet as the majority of the final work will be sent off for submissions in due time so with fingers crossed, you may see some finished art works in print before the year is out.
